Free Libra Horoscope for August 2013

July 28, 2013 By: Victoria Bazeley Category: FREE MONTHLY HOROSCOPES, libra monthly horoscope

Venus moves into your sign at mid-month, highlighting your ability to create harmonious relationships, one of Libra’s most important talents. Venus here may also increase the amount of attention you receive from others.

What Venus is not so good for is decisiveness. Venus, your sign’s natural ruler, prefers to go with the flow and leave the deciding to others. Venus is also not a big fan of action (it has a fondness for the word ‘lazy’), so if you need to make deliberate choices or take strong action this month, you’ll need to work a little harder at it to overcome Venus’s instincts. Or, Venus style, you could go with the flow and postpone actions and decisions for awhile.

Your solar 11th house is also highlighted this month via the sun and Mercury in Leo. The 11th house shows how you are inventive, and it actually goes along nicely with the Venus in your own sign. That’s because the Libra skill for creating harmonious relationships is the arena in which your inventiveness shines. You can be both creative and ingenious in matters of the heart, and matters of the heart are what Leo cares about.

The new moon in Leo takes place on the 6th, a time to initiate relationship-oriented matters. Libras with some sort of connection to show business may also find that the energy in Leo is helpful to their abilities. Leo rules show business and your creativity and intuition should be strong. You don’t need to have a show business connection to use the energy, though, anything you want to create is favored, as long as you truly care about it.

On the 22nd, the sun and then Mercury move into the sign of Virgo. Virgo is a sign that loves to count, make lists, organize, define, and box things up. It’s the back to school sign, and if you have organizing to do, now would be the time to do it.

The area of your life with the greatest churn, though, is likely to be career. Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter are all active in your career sign, Cancer, with Mars being the planet likely to create turnover or change in career matters that is immediately noticeable. The Mars churny-ness is short term; it’ll end on the 27th, when Mars will move into Leo and that 11th house we were talking about. Jupiter, however, will be in your career sector for almost another year, so expect a continuing focus on your work.
