Happy New Year, Pisces. Next month is really your month, as that is when the sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars will all drop by for a visit. Still, as the year opens, you’ve got your ruler Neptune by your side. This will be the case for many years to come and it has many implications. But since we’re at the start of a new year and people often feel like making fresh starts at this time, I thought I’d mention one of the things it can mean.
Any planet in your sign can indicate a desire to change your appearance. For most of us these days, that means losing weight and making a new year’s resolution to hit the gym. If you’re going to do that (and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t), pick an exercise that Neptune likes. Neptune likes water-based stuff: swimming, sailing, rowing, fishing, anything that can be done in or around water. If you’re going to pick a gym, pick one with a heated pool, and Neptune will be as happy as….well, a clam in water.
January is also Pisces’s annual month of hopes and wishes. The traditional Pisces wish is to be more practical! Wish away, especially if you were born at the very end of February or beginning of March. Pluto and Saturn are going to tag-team to both teach you how to be practical and give you opportunities make things happen if you will just put in the realistic effort.
An example would be the exercise thing I mentioned above: if you pick a realistic form of exercise that you can stick with, Pluto and the other planets in your wishing sign of practical Capricorn will demonstrate to you that your program really can improve your health.
This kind of goes along with what Chiron in your sign is saying–which is: Pisces, heal thyself! Your annual new moon of undertaking any new project that involves physicality is on the 11th this year. Mars will be in Aquarius at that time, and he’ll view exercise as a form of stress control and a chance to experience some solitude with your thoughts.
Once the sun enters Aquarius on the 19th, it’ll be time to crawl under the covers to escape with a good book. The sun and Mercury in Aquarius in your chart then will like both good books and crawling under the covers to escape.
You also have a few days of career energy left in January. Venus will be in Sagittarius, your career sign, for about the first 10 days of the month. Sagittarius is a travel sign, so you may be doing a spot of traveling for work.
