Your ruler Uranus stations in Aries this month on the 13th. When a planet stations (basically changes direction from direct to retrograde or vice versa), it is often at its most powerful. Your ruler happens to be a very analytical planet. It examines issues very methodically, looks at their separate parts and then figures out how they can be put back together in a new way.

So your prime task this month is to analyze whatever in your life needs to be analyzed and reconstituted in a fresh way. Here’s a couple of suggestions: your finances and relationship with possessions. Your needs. What really represents a necessity in your life. This last suggestion comes courtesy of Pluto in Capricorn who has been battling your ruler for awhile.

Pluto has become convinced that he needs to cling to something he thinks is necessary that has actually outlived its usefulness. Or…he’s trying to point out to you some necessity that you are trying to ignore. Either way, Pluto and Uranus edge off their battle when Uranus stations, and your ability to figure out the root of the conflict increases.

July is also traditionally the month when you become completely immersed in work or health-related topics. If you need to look for a job, the time around the new moon in Cancer on the 18th would be a good time. If you already have a job, you may still be drowning in work, but the mix of influences is a bit different.

There’s a lot of Leo energy in the skies (the sun moves into the sign on the 22nd and Mercury’s there all month), and Leo energy is concerned with self-esteem and pride in oneself. Mercury in Leo (which goes retrograde on the 14th) can be excessively concerned with validation from others. This is another area that could benefit from Uranus’s analytical rays. Analyze early and often seems to be the motto of the month.

You may also want to do a bit of traveling, as Mars will move into your travel sector on the 3rd. Virgo is finally turning over the reins (he’s been holding on to Mars for 8 months!) and letting the sign of Libra get a little Martian energy. The planets this month in Libra and Leo aren’t just concerned with travel though.

Like Uranus and Pluto, they are also concerned with your needs and how best to satisfy them over the long haul. Make some progress on that question, especially as it relates to what you need from others, and you’ll have accomplished a lot in July.
