Thinking, talking, distractions, money, pleasure. These words don’t exactly sum up the month of June, which is very active astrologically. But they’re a good start. Many of these items are related to Venus in Gemini, which stations at the end of the month and thus is particularly powerful. The sun in Gemini until the 20th adds fuel to the thought-intensive fire.
And oh yeah, Jupiter enters Gemini on the 11th. If that’s not enough Gemini for you, how about Mercury in Gemini for the first week and the second new moon of the year in Gemini on the 19th. Yeah, it’s a very Gemini month and if you can’t embrace your inner chatterbox in June, you’ll find yourself very uncomfortable. The good thing about all this Gemini is as a sign it is excellent for gaining clarity.
Gemini has the sharpest vision in the zodiac and it makes precise distinctions that keep it from being easily fooled. It sees things as they are, whether it wants to or not, and that means that during the first part of the month at least, you can too. For example, Venus in Gemini could help you look at your spending habits and see exactly what they are (Venus is associated with money) or she could help you look at your values and identify them more clearly (Venus is also associated with one’s values).
There’s also a lunar eclipse in your long-distance travel sector on the 4th. If the eclipse doesn’t bring some sort of travel-related surprise, it may relate to the exchange of opinions. I know it seems strange that the part of your chart signifying long-distance travel also signifies opinions and expressing them, but it does. You could let go of opinions that no longer serve you or find yourself stimulated and generating new insights as you review past information.
Although Venus in Gemini wants to focus on things like pleasure, how you look (Venus is vain), comfort, enjoyment and spending, your ruler Mars and mighty Pluto want to focus on work. Pluto itself is clashing quite violently with Uranus in your own sign, which presumably doesn’t feel all that much like working. If you can figure out some way to enjoy your work or at least be pleased and proud with what you do, it will make the clashing astrological energy a bit easier to navigate.
The truth is, June is such a hectic month astrologically that there’s no way to make all the pieces fit together nicely. Still, if you can set yourself the one goal of looking at your finances and spending habits this month, you should get something of value from the melange of influences.
