This month planets continue to stack up in your solar 6th house, represented by the sign of Pisces. The 6th most notably refers to one’s job, but it also refers to volunteer and community activities and one’s health. In March, the sun starts the month in Pisces, and enters Aries at the start of spring on the 20th. Mercury darts into Aries, but changes it mind about things on the 12th and begins retrograding in that sign. It scoots back into Pisces on the 23rd and stays there until the 16th of next month. For the time being, your world revolves around 6th house matters. In addition, Neptune and Chiron have settled into Pisces for the long haul, meaning that your job, community activities and health will be under the planetary spotlight for more than a decade to come.
In the short-term, Mars spends the month retrograding in the sign opposite Pisces, Virgo. The 6th house planets want you to be out there getting involved and participating, while Mars just wants to withdraw to think about things. Mars wants to know what all this outer activity means to you.
Mars is also the planet of competition, challenge, and testing oneself. So there is a bit of a suggestion that Mars is pushing you toward some sort of personal best. This is a good thing because Mars can actually be quite supportive of your outward endeavors by giving you insight into how you can achieve top performance.
In short, you have your hands full and we haven’t even talked about the Aries planets yet. The sun, Mercury, Venus, and Uranus will all spend some time this month in Aries. These planets are interested in your relationships, your personal involvements as opposed to your community ones. Don’t neglect this area of your life!
Next, we have a grand trine of planets in earth signs at mid-month. Jupiter and Venus in Taurus team up with Mars and Pluto for little burst of happy harmony. I have a suspicion that Jupiter and Venus will want to celebrate the happy-fest by sneaking in a little shopping for yourself or others or perhaps by having you take a nature-oriented day trip if you can. Go ahead and indulge; you probably deserve it.
I will mention that later this year (in October) Saturn will move out of your sign and into Scorpio, your financial sign. Saturn and an eclipse series in Scorpio and Taurus will start to put pressure on your finances, so be prudent in your spending, even now.
