Free Scorpio Horoscope for May 2009
May could find you feeling a little bit indecisive when it comes to partners. In fact, May could find you feeling a little bit indecisive about everything, especially if you were born around the 17th of November. First, we’ll talk about the partners. The sun will be moving forward in Taurus, your sign of committed relationships, at the same time that Mercury is moving backwards in the same sign.
So it’s kind of like your chart is one of those cats standing at the door, with you saying impatiently “Well, in or out, which is it?” Or you could be one of those cats that goes out (as for example with a person of your favorite sex) and then as soon as you’re out, you start thinking “Oh I want back in” (your cozy home). And then as soon as you’re back in your cozy home you want to go back out again. Kind of like that.
This isn’t exactly your fault. There’s a whole huge stack of energy right at the bottom of your chart (Jupiter, Neptune, and Chiron precariously perched on top of each other) and all of it is squaring your sun. So you could be extremely happy at the same time as being extremely depressed or anxious at the same time as being confused as to why you are feeling a bunch of different things at once. Makes it kind of hard to make up your mind.
This too will pass, although not really until July or so. The reason you are indecisive, although it will be difficult for you to tell, is because your soul is processing like a gazillion tons of information below the surface of your conscious mind. This takes time and tends to put your normal thought patterns out of commission for awhile. As in being spacy and indecisive.
Having your soul process a gazillion tons of information all at once is actually a good thing, although you won’t, again, probably be able to tell until the entire fatiguing process is completed. But once it is completed, you’ll be able to make better decisions than you thought possible because you’ll understand yourself way better. Which is kind of cool.

I already feel this way.
1Yeah, one of the reasons I post the horoscopes early is because often the energy comes into play before the start of the month.
2Me too..My birthday is the 17 so I am in for a real jubi time..when do we get a easy ride!
3Well, if it makes you feel any better, Uranus will also be trining your sun starting in late May. That’s considered to be a good transit. It’s a little stronger in June than in late May, but still…it is coming up pretty soon. I’ll post more about that in the next horoscopes.
4Hi, interesting post. I have been pondering this topic,so thanks for posting. I’ll definitely be subscribing to your blog.
5Boy are you right about being indecisive! I decided to look for a new financial advisor– which I realize now is very relationship based–and half the time I think to stay with the company I’m with now and half the time I think it might be a good time to move. But so far I’m not crazy about any of these new people. The gazillion tons of information feels right on the money too!
6You brought up a good point. The 7th house of partners is also the house of people we employ in an advisory capacity. Lawyers, agents, accountants, therapists, astrologers, etc. So your financial advisor would definitely fall into this category.
So thanks for bringing that up.
7The first five planets of my chart are in scorpio, primarily in the 11th house, with Mars in the 10th. How does Mercury going retro in Taurus impact Saturn turning direct mid May?
8VGK: Good question. Mercury and Saturn will be pretty far from an exact aspect in May because Mercury will not retrograde all the way back to the middle of Taurus. Neptune stationing should theoretically have more of an effect because the two will clash.
However, what I am seeing in real life is that people are responding quite strongly to the financial aspect of Taurus energy this year and that may have something to do with the dire effect that Saturn in Virgo has had on the world economy. So people are re-thinking and sometimes regretting financial decisions.
So I wouldn’t say that Merc retro impacts Saturn, but Saturn may be impacting how people respond to Mercury. Saturn going direct is, of course, a briefly good sign for the economy.
9I have 4 planets in Libra, Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Leo and Sagittarius Rising. And no, I so do NOT want to reexperience my Saturn Return so I hope I learned my lessons the first time around!!
The four m’s I’ve always had challenges with:
Money
Moving ( this also pertains to the home itself )
Men
Mother
and not necessarily in that order.
Sometimes I think my life would be so much easier if I’d been born some other sign. I just feel so jaded about where I live and really feel drawn to live near water again. I would like to move to a cozy affordable home close to the beach preferably far far away from where I’m currently stuck.
No matter what though: the cat is NOT negotiable.
They go where I go.
I don’t know that I necessarily feel indecisive about anything and everything. Mine is more just, I need to get away from all this negativity, game-playing and B.S. and be able to hear myself think!
Oh, did I mention that my mother has at least two planets in Scorpio and that most men I’m ever interested in turn out to have Scorpio heavily influence their chart ( i.e., Scorpio Moon, planets in Scorpio )?
What I’d give to be a Gemini for a day ; I’d get ALOT of things accomplished!
10Hmmm…all that energy stacked at the bottom of your solar chart is in the sector that governs where you live. Maybe it really IS time to move. No better time than when Jupiter’s on your side. With Sag rising, you may have Uranus in Pisces (water) itching to get moving too.
Probably worth making the effort to get unstuck…
